MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONSAs mentioned in last week’s newsletter, the Board has decided to hold the fee structure for all categories at the same amounts as last year. Another robust review will be completed in early 2025 which may see increases required for the 2025-2026 subscriptions, but for this coming financial year membership fees will remain unaltered. Membership fees for 2024-2025 will be as follows: • Full (7 day) member: $997.50 • 6 Day - Sunday to Friday: $870 • 5 Day - Weekdays only: $740 • Pay to Play (7 day): $492.50 • Pay to Play (6 day): $460 • Intermediate (18-23 years): $350 • Intermediate (24-26 years): $700 • Junior (12-17 years): $135 • Sub-Junior (under 12 years): $20 • Bronze: $1,200.00 - for members wishing to claim tax benefits. The following break-up is an indication of the net fees available to the Club from two of our membership categories. Golf Victoria’s affiliation fee has increased 5.6% and the Golf Link fee 11% from the previous year. This includes Trial memberships expiring on June 30. If you decide not to re-join the Club, it would be appreciated if you could please notify us to that effect, by email at office@pigc.com.au. Your 2024-2025 Membership Subscription invoice will be sent to you via email on the week commencing Monday July 1, 2024. No fees are payable until this date. Those that have golf club and buggy/cart storage will receive two invoices, one for the membership fees and the other for club / buggy storage. When due, membership fee payments can me made: In the Club's Office (when attended). It is preferred that credit / debit card payments are made in the Office. Transferring directly into the Club's bank account (preferred). Please ensure that you include your name or Club membership number to ensure your payment is properly identified and allocated within our records. Payments by credit / debit cards attract a surcharge of 1.35%. The Club continues to offer a direct debit facility to Members wishing to pay their subscriptions on a monthly basis at an additional administration charge of $55.00 per annum. Instalment payments are payable over the first nine months in the membership year. Ad hoc membership instalments will not be accepted. The administration charge will be added to the subscription fee and levied over the instalment period. For those members who have used this facility during the past year, unless we are advised to the contrary, instalments for the new subscription year will be processed automatically to the nominated account from July 2024. Members experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact our Office to discuss available payment options as we truly value every member of our Club. |
